The first thing you would need to consider when you are writing an article is the topic of the article. You will also use the topic to create a title for your article. Now, your article title has to be specific and it has to benefit-driven to succeed in getting page views. Numbers work very well for titles because they are specific and people are attracted to numbers.
Next, you need to determine the length of your article, at least visually in your mind. Roughly around how long will your article be? I like to keep my articles to 250 to 250 words maximum. Most article directories will allow this. The reason I like to writer shorter articles is because there are less words to go through for the reader before they see my resource box. In general, the longer your articles are, the more readers you will lose along the way. Short and interesting articles are the best for the web and for getting traffic. And you'll be able to crank out more articles for your time too, so it's a solid strategy.
After that, you will need to start writing your article. Personally, I like to just write like I talk. The more thought you put into it, the more you will procrastinate and the longer it will take for you to write articles. I used to be very careful when writing my articles too, but now I just write conversationally and I find the articles flow better and I can be productive in my article production this way too.
